METACUBE is an open-world blockchain MMO in a post-apocalyptic environment where a few human consciousnesses had the chance to be rescued before being inserted into pods. In this survival game in constant climatic upheaval, the player uses (or sometimes programs) his pod to collect, craft, build, fight, evolve, conquer, make a name for himself and ultimately lead the world after.
Our love for survival games such as V-Rising, Ark Evolve and especially Conan Exile, and MMORPGs like WoW, LostArk, Ultima Online, led us to imagine what would be a perfect fusion of genres.
What are these games missing?
Nervousness about fights.
The recurring problem with MMORPGs is the sluggishness of their combat, which is too often the opposite of an ARPG or a good hack'n'slash. METACUBE aims to deliver heart-touching combat animation , vibrant visual effects, and sound design with satisfying melodies of steel and teflon.
More stories and more trouble.
We believe that stories between players should be at the heart of a persistent universe: it's what makes a server live, it's what creates tension, clan retaliation and what makes the atmosphere so explosive and captivating. The stories of power between the players push the players to unite, to become stronger and ultimately to explore emotions that real life cannot offer. For these reasons, human psychology and player interactions will be at the heart of METACUBE.
To reign
Quests and arena performances grant the player devotion points. The higher the player's devotion, the greater their affinity with the Great Machine. As a result, he obtains substantial advantages and in particular the ability to reign over the world after, influence it and even obtain % of the farm recovered by the Great Machine via the quests it gives to players.
Automation in the farm
The farm must imperatively remain a pleasure! There's nothing worse than logging into an MMORPG just because you have to do your daily quest. One of the contributions of METACUBE is the possibility of automating the actions of its pod so that it can collect, craft or even fight when you are AFK. Thus, it becomes possible to program your pod in the morning, so that it goes to work and returns in the evening with its mission accomplished (well... if all goes well).
