Quests and Devotion

The large machine provides quests when it scans the area and passes over the player. The quests can be: explore, collect, fight, help the big machine to collect data on the human brain...
The quests initially serve as camouflaged tutorials to evolve in the game and discover the different possibilities.
Each quest done by the player grants [item(s)], experience, devotion, and sometimes $MTCB.
The quests given by the GM only serve its own interests. Depending on its needs, the great machine can ask for mutual aid between the pods or ask them to do actions that go to even other players and their own clan...
Devotion points allow one to show one's worth to the mother of all holograms: the great machine.
The higher your devotion gauge, the more interesting objects the traveling drone can bring you.
Players with the most devotion can sit in the great machine and co-rule the world, allowing them to:
Get rich by earning a % of what the great machine earns in resources via quests given to players,
Rule the world by defining the rules (example: Killing other players, is it prohibited, encouraged or without consequence?)
Shaping the future of METACUBE (should we improve the weather, search for other habitable planets, do everything so that biological humans can live again…).
As a reminder, the big machine is in orbit around the Earth and will therefore not always be able to see you. You can gain devotion by completing quests, by finding certain resources useful to the great machine or by fighting in the arena. Conversely, being caught using an object allowing to know the position of the great machine, killing other players under the eyes of GM when the policy forbids it, will lose devotion points .
Rare, epic and legendary hologram NFTs offer a more or less substantial devotion bonus > NFTs
Any fair action towards the great machine offers devotion.
Any disloyal action towards the great machine makes you lose... unless you are discreet.
